MARK NORRIS

COVENANT LIBRARY MINISTRIES presents...

“I worked with Mark Norris on my Holy Spirit Devotionals and “Angels on Command” book years ago when he freelanced wrote and edited after serving as managing editor for Kenneth Hagin Ministries Word of Faith magazine, Albury Publishing, and Harrison House. In The Catacombs of Tarshish, Mark applies his specialty in “end times” studies in a Christian fantasy thriller that allegorizes the spiritual warfare that surrounds us daily and Revelation’s sequences that lead to the Second Coming of Christ. This fantasy novel is well-written…on a C.S. Lewis, Frank E. Peretti, or J.K Rowling level. My fifteen-year old grandson who reads a novel a month in this style said he loved the descriptive writing. So this work has two audiences, Christian youth and Christian adults. Not only does this tale excite the reader, it equips him/her in prayer and spiritual warfare. I hope you enjoy The Catacombs of Tarshish as much as I have. Jesus (Krystos), warrior angels, warrior prophets, and Satan’s fallen host battle in this eschatological thriller for the victorious end the Book of Revelation guarantees. I suggest that you pull together a Christian reader’s discussion group and do this with other Christian friends. What a wonderful book to share and then pray together with spiritual weapons you receive from your journey through The Catacombs of Tarshish. Thanks Mark for a great novel!

“In The Catacombs of Tarshish, Mark takes us on an intense and imaginative quest that parallels our own lives. A great piece of work that captivates the reader while increasing our ability to remain free from the schemes of darkness. I love  it. It is lush in imagery.“

Tom Miller

“This book really made me think. It delves into spiritual warfare, and considers some of the ways God could anoint believers who resist the enemy in the last days. This book challenged me to believe God for some things I had never considered before. But, it is also a good story. It has plenty of action and I found it hard to put down. I recommend it!”

Mark pens an exciting story that keeps the reader eagerly turning the pages in this epic work of spiritual warfare. It empowers readers with the grasp of their authority to tear down powers and principalities in high places ultimately winning over them victoriously. Mark Norris’ writing style is elaborative and brings much detail for enlighting the reader’s imagination.“

Tom Eaton

“Amazing book! I am still telling people about it!”

Michael Simon

“Mark Norris uses an expansive landscape to illustrate spiritual use of words and the physical world in this biblical fantasy-style epoch featuring unique and original creatures and lore.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed The Catacombs of Tarshish, and have become a fan of its genre, Christian Fantasy Thriller. This book is so well written that I felt transported right into the story. I could picture the sights, smell the aromas, hear the demonic spirits closing in, and feel what the travelers from Drugolin felt. I was able to sense their encounters with the Holy Spirit and with Yahwin Himself.

The Holy Scriptures that I know in my heart were brought back to my mind as I read. “God’s Word never returns void. It will accomplish what God has purposed. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. They overcame by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.”

I loved the rich, hearty, language of times long past.

Equally, I loved how easily I could make the biblical connection of characters.
